What happened to me? Children, many of them.

So I have decided to put a spin on this website. I'll focus on articles about technology that help parents, children and all people in general.

Outdated! Charter Cable Box UI

When I was living with my old roommates, we used Direct TV and Time Warner Cable to satisfy our TV cravings. While I hated, hate, and will always hate Direct TV for their barbaric two year contracts, I give them credit for having a neat looking user interface (UI). But because of their two year contract and lies, we cancelled. We paid about $400 dollars to get Direct TV's grubby paws out of our living room. At that point, it wasn't about the money, it was about principles. And so a happier relationship was started with Time Warner Cable. Though a lot of things were better with Time Warner Cable, I couldn't help but notice their cable boxes' UI was "fugly". Little did I know... Recently, I've moved away from the parents  old roommates. The new area I'm in is serviced by Charter Cable. T-Mobile Thinks We Are Dumb

It is business as usual for T-Mobile. They keep on selling 4G phones. They even have the girl from the picture above making fun of AT&T's network in recent commercials. Did we forget that AT&T bought out T-Mobile USA? Did we forget that AT&T said they were going to raid T-Mobile's towers for its upcoming LTE 4G network. Let us also not forget that T-Mobile and AT&T do not have compatible 3G and 4G, so if you buy a new T-Mobile phone now, it most likely will not work in three years for 3G or 4G speeds. The phone might not even make it to two years. So if you are thinking about buying a new T-Mobile phone, DON'T! And why does AT&T not have an LTE 4G network, like the one Verizon has? AT&T was racking in profits with the help of iPhone for the last years. Perhaps AT&T's priorities are in buying out companies rather than building up its network. If any of you are parents, you will most likely have a child that is addicted to a screen. If you are one of the fortunate parents to have cracked the code of children's screen addictions, good for you. I mean this with zero sarcasm. Please let us know in the comments below what worked for you.  For the rest of us that have been fooled, betrayed and trapped by screens, here is the game plan, part 1. The first part of the game plan is to help yourself. How can you teach your children not to be addicted, when you yourself are addicted to screens.
